Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort draws visitors from all over the world with its acres of varied terrain and lofty alpine peaks. At an elevation of 11,053 feet, this ski and snowboard destination is the highest in California, and it boasts more than 3,000 feet of vertical descent. Lovers of snow enjoy the resort’s more than 400 inches of annual snowfall, and with numbers like that, the ski season regularly extends through June and beyond. Mammoth Mountain is serviced by 28 lifts (including nine high-speed quads, two high-speed six-packs, and three high-speed gondolas) which carry guests all over the sprawling 3,500 acres of powdery mountainside. For the adventurous, Mammoth Mountain Ski Area has a full terrain park complete with three half pipes of varying sizes, more than any other resort in North America.

Visitors to this wintertime playground come to play big, and Mammoth Mountain certainly delivers. Skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities return year after year for an extreme experience that’s hard to top.
